Today, a number of towns in the south witnessed a remarkable field escalation, represented by the incursion of Israeli forces and the bombing of homes in Mays al-Jabal, in parallel with powerful bombings in Beni Hayyan and al-Mansouri, where the use of a method emerged based on dropping explosive materials from drones before detonating them later.
The Lebanon Debate correspondent reported that Israeli forces entered the western outskirts of the town of Mays al-Jabal, before bringing a truck loaded with explosive materials to the area.
According to the information, the Israeli forces booby-trapped a number of homes, in a preliminary step to blowing them up and destroying them.
In parallel, the reporter reported the sound of huge explosions in the town of Bani Hayyan, without it being immediately clear what the nature of the sites were that were targeted or the extent of the damage resulting from them.
As for the town of Al-Mansouri, 3 explosions were recorded in the vicinity of the town’s school, in conjunction with monitoring a different mechanism in carrying out the bombing operations.
According to field data, this mechanism is based on dropping containers or gallons loaded with explosive materials using drones, before detonating them later in the targeted locations.
In the same context, the National Agency reported that an Israeli drone dropped explosive materials on homes in the town of Mansouri, after a series of explosions in the town.
The National Agency also reported that a powerful Israeli bombing had occurred in Al-Mansouri using explosive barrels that the drones had dropped in the morning, reflecting an escalation in the bombing methods used inside the town.
These developments come in light of the continued Israeli movements within a number of southern villages and towns, especially in the border areas, where incursions, bombings, and targeting of homes and buildings are repeated, which keeps field tension present along more than one axis in the south.
