In a new indication of continued field tension in the south, the Israeli “Channel 12” reported that the Israeli army’s ground operations are currently concentrated between the Ali al-Taher and Kafr Benit heights in southern Lebanon.
According to the channel, this axis is witnessing Israeli ground movements in an area that is considered one of the most prominent points of field clashes in recent hours, in light of the continuing escalation despite talk of a ceasefire.
These data come after a night that witnessed confrontations in the vicinity of the Ali Al-Taher Heights, where Hezbollah confirmed in a statement issued by its operations room that an Israeli force attempted to infiltrate towards the height, before its fighters confronted it and caused deaths and injuries among its ranks.
On the other hand, the Israeli army reported more than 50 firing operations towards its forces operating in southern Lebanon, considering this a violation of the ceasefire, and announcing the targeting of Hezbollah military sites and structures in the south.
The Ali Al-Taher – Kafr Tibnit axis is gaining field importance because it is located within an area of operations that witnesses attempts at progress and mutual targeting, while Israeli raids continue to target several southern areas, amid warnings of expanding the scope of the confrontation and complicating the path of calm.
