Prime Minister Nawaf Salam received the former head of the Progressive Socialist Party, Walid Jumblatt, in the presence of the head of the Progressive Socialist Party, MP Taymour Jumblatt, and a member of the “Democratic Gathering” bloc, MP Wael Abu Faour.
During the meeting, the situation in the region was discussed, in addition to the Israeli attacks on Lebanon and the serious threat they pose to the country’s sovereignty and the security of its people.
The attendees also discussed the violations of international law, especially international humanitarian law, that these attacks represent.
