Attention is turning to the coming hours amid conflicting Israeli and Iranian estimates regarding the response to the raid that targeted Beirut. At a time when Israeli media spoke of an attempt to contain the escalation through incentives, Tehran confirmed that a response to the attack is imminent.

Yedioth Ahronoth quoted Israeli estimates that Iran may refrain from attacking Israel in exchange for advantages.

On the other hand, Fars Agency reported that the Iranian response to Israel’s attack on Beirut is about to occur.

The Secretary of the Iranian National Security Council confirmed that Tehran will respond to the Israeli attacks that targeted Beirut, stressing that “Lebanon is our soul and we will not accept the violation of our red lines,” stressing that a response is imminent.

For its part, Israeli Channel 12 reported that Iran rejected incentives from US President Donald Trump in exchange for not responding to the raid on the southern suburbs of Beirut.

These developments come after the Israeli raid that targeted the southern suburbs of Beirut, and the widespread regional escalation that accompanied it, amid American efforts to contain the situation and prevent the region from sliding into a broader confrontation.
