“Lebanon Debate”
The meeting that Finance Minister Yassine Jaber was scheduled to hold with the Customs Administration, at 5 pm today, Wednesday, was postponed to a later date to be determined at that time.
In this context, ministerial sources revealed to Lebanon Debate that the reason for the postponement was due to Jaber suffering from a health problem yesterday evening, Tuesday, which required his transfer to the American University Hospital in Beirut to undergo the necessary medical examinations.
The sources confirmed that the Minister of Finance’s condition is stable and does not cause concern, but his treating doctor preferred to keep him in the hospital for 24 hours under observation, to be completely reassured about his health condition.
