Spring 2026 "Strange, strange"...is the rain continuing?

The Estimates Department at the Meteorological Department in the General Directorate of Civil Aviation expected that relatively stable spring weather would prevail over Lebanon and the eastern Mediterranean basin, with temperatures below their seasonal averages and some occasional light rain and fog on the highlands, especially in the northern regions during the coming days due to the influence of relatively cold air masses.

Expected weather in Lebanon:

Sunday: Partly cloudy with no significant change in temperature and fog in the highlands. The winds will be active and scattered light rain is expected to fall at times, especially in the northern regions, starting in the afternoon.

Monday: Partly cloudy to partly cloudy, with a limited rise in temperatures in the interior and mountainous areas and stability on the coast, with fog continuing to form in the highlands. Light, scattered rain is expected at times, especially in mountainous areas, starting in the afternoon.

Tuesday: Partly cloudy with a rise in temperatures, especially in the mountainous and inland areas, and fog continuing to appear in the highlands.

Wednesday: Partly cloudy with a slight additional rise in temperatures and fog in the highlands. Light, scattered rain is expected at times, especially in the mountainous and northern areas, starting in the afternoon.

Surface winds: southwesterly, active at times, with speeds between 15 and 40 km/h.
Visibility: Good on the coast, sometimes worse on highlands due to fog.
Relative humidity on the coast: between 60 and 80%.
Sea condition: average wave height to wavy at times.
Water surface temperature: 21°C.
Atmospheric pressure: 1021 HPA, equivalent to: 766 mm Hg.
Sunrise hour: 05:32.
Sunset hour: 19:37.
