Hezbollah’s military media published scenes that it said documented the process of targeting the Islamic Resistance, on 05/08/07/2026, the “Iron Dome” platform and its crew belonging to the Israeli army at the Jal al-Alam site on the Lebanese-Palestinian border, using two attack helicopters.
The military media also published scenes from the operation to target the Islamic Resistance, on 05/09/2026, a gathering of Israeli army soldiers at a helicopter landing pad inside the Shlomi settlement in northern occupied Palestine, using a dive helicopter.
The publication of the scenes coincided with Hezbollah’s announcement of carrying out a series of field operations against Israeli army sites, concentrations and vehicles in southern Lebanon, as part of what it described as a response to “Israel’s violation of the ceasefire and attacks on southern villages.”
In successive statements, the party announced that it had targeted a gathering of Israeli army vehicles and soldiers in Khallet Raj on the outskirts of the town of Deir Sarayan with artillery shells at 15:00, confirming that casualties had been achieved, noting that the Israeli army had brought in a support force to remove the casualties “under a thick smoke cover.”
He also announced the targeting of a gathering of Israeli army soldiers in the town of Rashaf at 16:00 with a guided missile, before this was followed at 16:15 by targeting a gathering of Israeli army vehicles and soldiers in the same town with a missile launcher.
In two subsequent statements, Hezbollah said that its fighters targeted, at 16:30, a gathering of Israeli army vehicles and soldiers at Khallet Raj in the town of Deir Saryan with a missile strike, simultaneously with targeting another gathering of Israeli vehicles and soldiers at Baidar al-Faqaani in the town of Taybeh with a missile strike.
The party stressed that these operations come “in defense of Lebanon and its people,” and in response to “the Israeli attacks that targeted southern villages and resulted in the death and injury of civilians.”
