The Lebanon Debate correspondent reported the theft of a Mercedes car in the vicinity of Abdel Hamid Karami Square in Tripoli, in an operation documented by surveillance cameras at the location.
The recordings showed a person watching the car and making sure the place was empty, before he was able to seize it and flee with it to an unknown destination.
In a remarkable development, within a few hours, a number of young men from Tripoli were able to identify a person suspected of involvement in the theft, called “B.H.”, who is from the Nahr al-Bared camp in Akkar, according to circulated information.
In light of these data, the people called on the security services to move quickly to verify it and arrest the suspect, in preparation for uncovering the full circumstances of the theft and recovering the car.
