Hezbollah escalated its military operations in southern Lebanon, announcing the implementation of a series of successive attacks targeting Israeli army vehicles, centers and concentrations, in conjunction with the publication of video scenes of operations carried out by the resistance during the past days using assault drones and artillery.

In successive statements, the party announced that its operations come “in defense of Lebanon and its people, and in response to Israel’s violation of the ceasefire and the attacks that targeted southern villages and resulted in the death and injury of civilians.”

The operations included targeting an Israeli D9 bulldozer at Khallet al-Raj in the town of Deir Sarayan with an assault attack, in addition to targeting a “Merkava” tank and a command center for the Israeli army in the town of al-Bayada.

The party also announced the implementation of missile launches towards Israeli gatherings and vehicles in Shama and Al-Bayyada, in addition to targeting a new “Iron Dome” platform near the Jal Al-Alam site, confirming its destruction by an attack helicopter.

In Bint Jbeil, the party announced that it had targeted a “Merkava” tank with an assault helicopter, before bombing military vehicles that intervened to withdraw it with artillery shells, while it also spoke of targeting the “Numira” troop carrier and other Israeli vehicles in the region.

The operations extended to Deir Saryan and Alman – Qusayr, where the party announced the implementation of successive strikes using attack helicopters and artillery shells against concentrations of Israeli army soldiers.

In parallel, Hezbollah’s military media published a series of videos that it said documented targeting operations carried out by the resistance during the past days, including striking a new artillery emplacement in Rab Thilaine, and targeting Israeli gatherings and vehicles at the Nimr al-Jamal site, Aita al-Shaab, Ainatha, and al-Quzah.

The military media also broadcast a video entitled “We will hunt you…” which included field scenes related to monitoring and targeting operations against Israeli forces in the south.

This field escalation comes in light of the increasing intensity of confrontations in southern Lebanon, following the assassination of leader Ahmed Ghaleb Ballout in an Israeli raid on the southern suburb of Beirut, amid growing Israeli fears of the expansion of the scope of Hezbollah operations and the continued targeting of army positions and northern settlements.
