The March 14 parties have always been at the forefront of calling for confining weapons to the state, strengthening its institutions, affirming the independence of the judiciary, establishing a strong state, and supporting the army, in addition to many attractive slogans that sought to establish the rules of the state and achieve fair law enforcement.
But what is ironic today is what we are witnessing in these parties in particular, especially after what some of the youth of the “Lebanese Forces” did during the funeral of their colleague Pierre Moawad, and what the “Future Movement” did yesterday of blocking roads and disrupting the movement of the capital.
It is true that no one accepts injustice or the absence of justice, but you chose to build the state and resort to the judiciary, and not to actions similar to those you criticize at Hezbollah. If you engage in these practices, you will be exposed to the same criticisms that you directed at him.
