Tents on fire: Violent confrontations between the resistance and..."Israeli army"

In a statement issued by it, under No. 46, the Islamic Resistance announced the outbreak of direct confrontations between its fighters and Israeli army forces in the city of Khiam, southern Lebanon, as of 21:20 pm on Saturday, March 14, 2026.

The statement stated that these clashes are taking place with various types of weapons, from light and medium weapons to rocket-propelled grenades, with an emphasis on their continuation until the time the statement is issued.

These confrontations in Khiam came after a series of operations announced by the Islamic Resistance on the evening of the same day, during which they targeted Israeli army positions and gatherings along the southern border. Previous statements mentioned targeting gatherings of soldiers in the Khiam detention area and the Metulla site with a barrage of missiles, in addition to shelling an artillery position in the Dishon settlement.

The resistance also announced that it was targeting Israeli forces stationed in Al-Aweida Hill and Al-Khazzan Hill in the town of Al-Adisa, in addition to bombing gatherings of soldiers near Fatima Gate in the town of Kafr Kila.

In addition, the data spoke of the downing of an armed Israeli army helicopter over the town of Sharqiya in southern Lebanon, while it indicated the targeting of an Israeli force that was trying to withdraw a destroyed tank near the eastern entrance to the town of Taybeh. These operations fall within the framework of what the resistance describes as the “battle of the devastating storm.”
