Reuters revealed, based on information from Lebanese and Israeli sources, that Hezbollah made changes in its leadership organizational structure coinciding with the ongoing military escalation. This amendment aims to maintain the conduct of its operations despite the recent attacks and assassinations that targeted a number of its leaders.
Lebanese sources reported to the agency that the party appointed four deputies for each field commander as a measure aimed at ensuring that military operations continue and do not stop if any commander is targeted.
On the other hand, an Israeli security source told Reuters that Hezbollah, despite the assassination of a number of its senior leaders, was able to maintain its cohesion and ability to make decisions and carry out operations.
The source continued, explaining that the party was able to reorganize the ranks of its fighters and arrange its front lines despite the fierce attacks it was exposed to in the recent period.
In addition, preliminary information indicates that the party launched a direct and qualitative attack from close range on Israeli positions, resulting in losses among the Israeli forces.
These developments come amid the escalation in the intensity of military operations on the Lebanese-Israeli front in recent hours and days.
