Sheikh Akl of the Druze Unitarian sect, Sheikh Dr. Sami Abi Al-Munna, visited Clemenceau, where he met with the former head of the Progressive Socialist Party, Walid Jumblatt, and the head of the party, MP Taymour Jumblatt.

The meeting was attended by members of the Democratic Gathering, Representatives Marwan Hamadeh, Wael Abu Faour, Hadi Abu Al-Hassan, and Faisal Al-Sayegh.

The attendees discussed the general situation in the country, in addition to the sect’s affairs and issues, in light of the current developments in Lebanon and the region.

After the meeting, Abu Al-Muna said: “Talking with Walid Bey is always useful and constructive. The concern is the same, the national concern and the internal concern, and we are cooperating. Walid Bey’s directives are always accepted for the good of the sect and the nation.”
