In the midst of the ongoing field escalation in southern Lebanon, the Islamic Resistance announced the implementation of three new operations targeting Israeli army concentrations and vehicles in the towns of Bayyada and Rishaf, in response to ceasefire violations and continuing Israeli attacks on southern villages.

In detail, the Islamic Resistance issued a statement in which it announced that its mujahideen targeted, at 23:15 pm yesterday evening, Friday, May 8, 2026, a gathering of Israeli army vehicles and soldiers in the town of Bayada, using a missile launcher, stressing that the operation came “in defense of Lebanon and its people, and in response to the Israeli enemy’s violation of the ceasefire and the attacks that targeted villages in southern Lebanon and resulted in martyrs and wounded among civilians.”

In a second statement, the resistance announced that, at 02:30 am on Saturday, May 9, 2026, it targeted a gathering of Israeli army vehicles in the town of Rashaf with artillery shells.

It also indicated in a third statement that a new operation was carried out at 03:15 am on Saturday, which also targeted a gathering of Israeli army vehicles in the town of Rashaf, with a missile launcher.

These operations come in light of the escalation of confrontations on the southern front, coinciding with continuous Israeli raids and targeting of a number of southern towns during the past hours, amid continuing security and field tension along the border.
