“Lebanon Debate”

The Al-Qubba area in Tripoli, specifically on Ibn Sina Street, witnessed a security problem that developed into an exchange of gunfire, which led to two wounded and raised a state of tension in the area.

In detail, a dispute occurred between the two invitees (K.G.) and (T.M.), before the dispute between them developed into an exchange of fire, which resulted in the injury of both parties.

Information indicated that one of the injured was shot in the foot, while the other was injured in the back area, where they were transferred to Tripoli Governmental Hospital to receive treatment, and their health condition was monitored.

According to preliminary data, the problem goes back to a previous dispute between the two parties, before it was renewed today and evolved into the use of weapons.

Immediately, the security authorities arrived at the scene and began taking the necessary measures to uncover the circumstances of the incident and determine responsibilities, while investigations continue to determine the background of the problem and the details of what happened.

This incident comes at a time when different areas of Tripoli are witnessing separate security incidents linked to individual disputes, which re-raises the issue of the spread of weapons and their use in dealing with personal disputes instead of resorting to security and judicial institutions.

Investigations are still underway under the supervision of the competent authorities, as the circumstances of the incident and the responsibilities resulting from it become clear.
