The head of the Arab Tawhid Party, Wiam Wahhab, warned that stopping Venezuelan oil supplies to Cuba could lead to severe repercussions on the country, considering that this time it will not be able to overcome the blockade imposed on it.
Wahab said, in a post on the “X” platform, that he loves Cuba and had previously visited it by official invitation in 2008, noting that he felt at that time the extent of the exhaustion caused by the blockade.
He added that Cuba was dependent on Venezuelan oil, considering that stopping these supplies might completely destroy it, and that it would not escape the repercussions of the blockade this time.
Wahhab believed that US Secretary of State Marco Rubio might repeat in Cuba what Pope John Paul II did in Poland, when he contributed to the overthrow of its communist regime.
