The Minister of Economy, Amer Al-Bassat, confirmed, during an inspection visit to the city of Nabatieh, that the government places its top priorities on restoring stability, reconstruction, and supporting the steadfastness of the people, as part of a comprehensive plan that will be implemented after the completion of the damage surveys.
Minister Al-Bassat stressed that restoring normal life in the south requires activating public administrations in the region, announcing the return of the Economic Department to full-time work in Nabatieh, starting next Monday.
He explained that his field tour aimed to determine the extent of the destruction that befell the city and the south in general, stressing the commitment of the ministry and the government to continuous work to re-secure basic services, including water, electricity, communications, and all infrastructure components necessary for the return of the people.
