Abu Ubaida, spokesman for the Al-Qassam Brigades, expressed his confidence in the ability and courage of Hezbollah fighters, stressing that they inflicted “huge and humiliating losses” on Israel in the recent clashes.
Abu Ubaida also repeated his appeal to the “Heroes of the Lebanese Resistance” to exploit any friction with the Israeli army to capture Israeli soldiers, considering this an important pressure tool in this conflict.
In a sharp statement, he considered that the Israeli attacks on the countries and peoples of the region are a sign of the imminent collapse of Israel, and stressed that this aggression will not achieve its goal, and that the “illusion of normalization” is doomed to failure.
He continued, saying that the region will only be governed by its people, stressing that its resources and wealth are the legitimate right of its people, and that the so-called “Greater Israel” will only exist in imagination.
He also warned against division and preoccupation with side conflicts in the region, and called for concerted efforts to confront what he described as attempts to weaken the nation.
In conclusion, he appealed to the Palestinian people to carry out distinguished operations to defend the prisoners, stressing that those who try to impose ideas from abroad on the region “do not realize the nation’s heritage and strength.”
