The Israeli army spokeswoman for the Arab media, Ella Wawiyeh, published a recording of a phone call that she said took place between an officer in Unit 504 in the Israeli army and a resident of the southern suburb of Beirut, as part of the media war accompanying the military escalation in the region.
The IDF reveals a phone call between an officer in Unit 504 and a resident of the southern suburb of Beirut: “Get rid of us, brother, from Hezbollah. I am with you. Get rid of me, remove us from our homes.”

Wawiya said in a post on her account on the “X” platform that the call took place as part of the communications that Unit 504 officers are conducting with residents of the areas that the Israeli army says it intends to target, with the aim of warning civilians and calling on them to evacuate these areas.
According to what was stated in the post, a person identifying himself as a resident of the southern suburb is heard in the recording saying to the unit officer: “Get rid of us, my brother, from Hezbollah. I am with you. Get rid of me, remove us from our homes.”
Wawiyah added that the speaker in the call said that Hezbollah is expelling residents from their homes and threatening them, noting that this speech reflects – according to her description – the position of a part of the Lebanese who stand with the Lebanese state and not with the party.
The Israeli spokeswoman also repeated the Israeli army’s accusations against Hezbollah of using civilian areas in the southern suburbs to develop and manufacture combat means, including sites linked to what is known as the project to increase missile accuracy.
She said that the party has worked over the years to store advanced weapons and missiles that it obtained from Iran, and that these means are manufactured and stored – according to the Israeli narrative – inside civilian infrastructure, including homes and buildings in different regions of Lebanon.
She pointed out that during the past two years, the Israeli army targeted sites that it said were linked to the storage of weapons and the manufacture of missiles belonging to Hezbollah.
The publication of this recording comes in light of a widespread military escalation between Israel and Hezbollah, as the southern suburb of Beirut witnessed several Israeli raids during the past days, in parallel with the exchange of bombing along the southern border.
