Israeli media sources reported that two Israeli soldiers were injured in a missile attack launched by Hezbollah yesterday on Israeli positions near the border with Lebanon, in the context of the ongoing military escalation along the Lebanese-Israeli border.
According to Israeli reports, the attack targeted a military site belonging to the Israeli army, resulting in the injury of the two soldiers, without revealing further details about the nature of the injuries they sustained.
The Israeli media also indicated that “today was not easy in the north,” stressing that last night witnessed the sounding of sirens in several border areas, after the difficult events that the region witnessed during the previous two days.
This development comes in light of the escalation of field confrontations between Israel and Hezbollah, with the continued exchange of bombing across the Lebanese-Israeli border.
On the other hand, the “Islamic Resistance” announced that it had carried out several operations targeting Israeli army sites and gatherings along the southern border, including targeting a gathering of vehicles at the “Fatima Gate” in the town of Kafr Kila with missile weapons, in response to the raids that targeted Lebanese areas in recent days.
This development reflects the continued military escalation on the Lebanese-Israeli border, amid increasing fears of the expansion of the scope of the confrontation in light of the continued exchange of strikes and air strikes.
