Hezbollah revealed new details regarding an attempted landing by Israel in the town of Nabi Sheet, located in the northern Bekaa, confirming that direct confrontations took place between its members and an Israeli force that attempted to infiltrate the area at night.
In a statement issued by the “Islamic Resistance – Hezbollah,” the party explained that its fighters spotted, at 22:30 pm on Friday 03/06/2026, four Israeli helicopters coming from the Syrian side, which landed an infantry force in the area of the barren triangle of the towns of Yahfufa, Al-Khuraybah, and Maaraboun.
The statement indicated that the Israeli force moved towards the eastern neighborhood of the town of Nabi Sheet (“Al Shukr neighborhood”), and upon arriving at the town’s cemetery, began direct clashes with a group of Hezbollah members using light and medium weapons.
The party stated that the clash developed after the Israeli force was exposed, prompting the Israeli army to carry out an intense bombardment that included about 40 raids using warplanes and helicopters, with the aim of securing the force’s withdrawal from the clash area.
The statement confirmed that Hezbollah artillery responded with concentrated shelling on the perimeter of the clash area and along the path of the Israeli force’s withdrawal, noting the participation of the people of neighboring villages in providing fire support during the confrontations.
The northern Bekaa region witnessed great field tension during the night, with news spreading about an Israeli landing attempt in the outskirts of Nabi Sheet, accompanied by an intense flight of helicopters and warplanes and the sounds of explosions and clashes being heard.
Information reported earlier that armed confrontations had broken out in the area, while media reports spoke of deaths and injuries during the clashes.
The Ministry of Public Health also announced that the Israeli raids that targeted Prophet Sheet resulted in the initial death toll of 3 people and the wounding of 16 others.
These developments coincided with intense raids and bombing carried out by Israeli aircraft on the outskirts of the town and the barren lands of the eastern chain, amid talk of a major security event in the northern Bekaa.
The details of the operation and the field results of the clashes are still being followed, while the escalation indicates a sensitive field stage in the confrontation between Israel and Hezbollah.
