Bekaa: Dozens of victims and calls for help to rescue those trapped amid the destruction

Israeli aircraft resumed bombing the northern Bekaa region this evening, carrying out several air strikes targeting the eastern mountainous areas of the town of Nabi Sheet and the Jinta Heights, located on the border of the Eastern Range.

Information reported that the recent raids targeted the Al-Shaara area, east of the town of Al-Nabi Sheet on the Eastern Range, in conjunction with Israeli bombing that targeted the town of Jinta in the neighboring barren lands.

Field data indicate that Israeli warplanes launched a new raid on the Shaara area near the barren lands of Nabi Sheet on the side of the eastern Lebanon mountain range, followed by a third and fourth raid on the hills of the same region, in a continuous escalation of bombing on the border barns.

The number of raids targeting the town of Nabi Sheet today increased to more than thirteen, while the town is still suffering from the effects of the massive destruction left by previous attacks.

Information indicates that 10 martyrs were killed, and a number of town residents are still under the rubble of homes destroyed as a result of the raids. It is expected that rescue and ambulance teams will resume operations to remove the rubble in the coming hours to save the trapped people and victims.

In a related context, information stated that there were calls directed to the Lebanese Red Cross and Civil Defense to go to the town of Nabi Sheet, after reports came of the presence of people still trapped under the rubble due to the Israeli raids.

At the same time, the Lebanese Army carried out illuminating artillery shelling towards the eastern chain as part of field procedures to monitor movements in the border area.

This escalation comes in light of the continued Israeli raids on various areas in the Bekaa and the south, as part of the increasing military confrontation that the Lebanese front has been witnessing for hours.
