Unveiling the electric car with the longest range in the world!

The Chinese company BYD announced a new development for its Denza Z9 GT electric car, confirming that it is capable of covering a distance of up to 644 miles according to the Chinese CLTC test cycle. The company claims this makes it the longest-range production electric car in the world.

This number represents a significant improvement of 64% over the current generation Z9 GT, which has a range of just 391 miles.

“Battery and performance options”:

The upgraded version is available with two different batteries: a 102.3 kWh battery and a 122.5 kWh battery, giving the car a driving range of between 509 and 644 miles depending on the configuration. It is expected that the car will continue to offer fully electric options, in addition to chargeable hybrid versions, as the improved hybrid version provides an electric range of up to 248 miles, compared to 125 miles in the previous version.

“Advanced driving techniques”:

The new Denza Z9 GT comes equipped with the God’s Eye 5.0 driving assistance system, which includes features such as autonomous driving in cities and highways, as well as automatic emergency steering to avoid accidents.

“Denza’s career”:

Denza was launched as a joint venture between China’s BYD and Germany’s Daimler in 2011, before BYD acquired majority ownership in 2022, becoming an integral part of the Chinese company’s plans to expand its range of luxury and high-performance electric cars.
