Apple will launch a huge update for the MacBook Pro, which may be one of the biggest changes in the company’s professional laptop history.

Reports indicate that the next version will have a completely new design with an OLED screen, touch support for the first time, and major changes in appearance and performance.

One of the most prominent expected improvements is the MacBook Pro’s transition from the current Mini-LED technology to an OLED screen, which is a step that will be the first of its kind in Mac devices after Apple used this technology in devices such as the iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch.

The OLED screen will provide important advantages such as true black, higher contrast, and more vibrant colors, thanks to the ability of each pixel to stop lighting independently compared to Mini-LED technology that relies on a backlight.

According to the leaks, the company is working on modifying the macOS system to become more suitable for touch control, so that some interface elements change automatically when using fingers, while supporting gestures such as zooming in, zooming out, and swiping.

It is also expected that Apple will abandon the current upper camera hole in the screen, known as the notch, in favor of a smaller design based on a circular hole for the camera.

Reports indicate that Apple may focus on the M7 generation in the future, especially in the field of improving artificial intelligence capabilities.

Apple is expected to unveil the new MacBook Pro at the end of 2026, perhaps in October and November. (Erm News)
