The Lebanese Daily Weather page specializing in weather conditions indicated that Lebanon’s summer this year was exceptional in terms of weather fluctuations, and despite the high humidity witnessed in some areas, especially the coastal ones, which increased the feeling of heat, it can be considered normal in terms of temperatures, as the region did not witness strong or long-lasting heat waves, but rather temperatures remained in most periods within their seasonal rates or close to them.
She pointed out that the temperatures will gradually begin to drop, becoming lower than their seasonal rates, coinciding with an activity in the southwesterly wind speed, which will push cumulus rain clouds towards the region, thus preparing the atmosphere for showers of rain accompanied by lightning and thunder.
The favorable opportunity for precipitation is concentrated between Saturday afternoon and Sunday afternoon, when the situation reaches its peak, and the rain intensifies from time to time, and may be heavy or even torrential locally, especially on the Syrian coastal strip and the neighbourhood, in addition to all the northern regions, especially Akkar and Dinniyeh, then the Lebanese coastal regions and the areas close to them and overlooking the sea.
According to the page, it is expected that rain will cover about 70% of the area of Lebanon, with the possibility of the formation of local cold waves, coinciding with an additional drop in temperatures between Saturday and Sunday, so that the autumn weather becomes cold at night and in the early morning hours, especially over the mountain highlands.
