It was learned that the presence of two additional prisoners in Israel has been confirmed, namely Hassan Youssef Berri and Ali Abdullah Asili, bringing the list that the Lebanese side is dealing with in the file of prisoners and missing persons to 36 names.

According to the information, Hassan Youssef Berri, whose mother is Fatima Berri, was born on December 15, 1987 and from the town of Al-Himyari, was arrested in Bint Jbeil on April 17, 2026. As for Ali Abdullah Asili, whose mother is Diba Asili, born on April 12, 1988 and from the town of Rashaf, he was arrested in Bint Jbeil on July 7, 2026.

Information indicates that Berri and Asili are members of Hezbollah, and that what is new in the file is not that the two arrests have taken place now, but rather that the presence of the two men in Israeli captivity has been verified and that they have been included with certainty in the data that Lebanon is dealing with.

According to the information available about affiliations, the overwhelming majority of the names associated with the recent confrontations belong to members of Hezbollah, including members of the “Resistance Brigades.” On the other hand, a different case stands out: Abdullah Ahmed Al-Obaid, who is listed at No. 30 on the list. He was born in Syria in 1992. He was arrested in Dibal on April 22, 2026. According to the information he obtained, he does not belong to Hezbollah or its fighting formations.

As for the first three cases, Hezbollah says they belong to people who have been with Israel for many years, that is, before the “battle of support,” while the rest of the cases are related to the subsequent period and the war, incursions, and arrests witnessed by the Lebanese front.

The numbers reveal the extent of the expansion of the file in recent years. Of the 36 cases on the list, 13 cases date back to the year 2024, 8 cases date back to the year 2025, and 12 cases date back to the year 2026 so far, in addition to 3 older cases dating back to the years 1978, 1981, and 2005. Thus, 33 out of 36 cases have been recorded since 2024.
