The Estimates Department at the Meteorological Service in the General Directorate of Civil Aviation expected that the weather tomorrow will be partly cloudy with dense fog in the highlands, with no significant change in temperatures on the coast and their decrease over the mountains and inland. Scattered light rain is expected, especially in the northern highlands, starting in the afternoon.
The bulletin stated the following:
-General condition:
Habitual and humid summer weather dominates Lebanon and the eastern basin of the Mediterranean, with temperatures within their seasonal averages, until Saturday, when the region is affected by a moderately effective air depression centered northwest of Turkey, which is gradually approaching and pushing moderate air masses that lead to a drop in temperatures so that they become below their seasonal averages, with scattered rain, sometimes heavy, starting from Saturday evening, accompanied by lightning and thunder, especially in the northern regions, and continuing until Sunday evening, when the weather gradually stabilizes.
Average temperatures for August: Tripoli between 24 and 32°C, Beirut between 25 and 33°C, Zahle between 18 and 35°C.
