Journalist Sami Kleib criticized Israel’s beginning of the process of evacuating the compound of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees “UNRWA” in Kafr Aqab, considering that the move aims to “close the last eye that witnessed the crime, and the last hand extended to save children and their families.”
Kleib said, in a post on the “X” platform: “And now it is the turn to annihilate UNRWA, to expand the Israeli insult to all nations,” criticizing what he described as “a submissive, sleepy, and conspiring global conscience,” at a time when countries continue to repeat the phrase “Israel’s right to defend itself.”
Kleib’s position came as a comment on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s announcement of the start of the process of evacuating the UNRWA compound in Kafr Aqab based on his directives, stressing that Israel will not allow the agency to continue its work, against the backdrop of accusations he leveled against a number of its employees of involvement in armed acts.
Netanyahu said that Israel will act against UNRWA by all available means.
