As part of its follow-up on the file of complaints related to infringements and obstructions on the Minieh International Highway and the roads adjacent to and branching from it, the Minieh-Nabi Yousha Municipality instructed the competent official and security authorities to work on removing the illegal kiosks and kiosk and encroachments that obstruct traffic and pose a threat to public safety.

This comes based on the correspondence and follow-up conducted by the municipality, which also included speed bumps and openings on the side roads leading to the international highway, with a request to take the necessary measures in accordance with the rules.

The municipality published the official documents related to this file through its social media platforms, and placed them before the people of Minya “based on the principle of transparency.”

It confirmed in a statement that it “will continue to follow up on the file with the competent authorities until the violations are addressed and the international road is regulated, in a way that preserves public safety and the right of citizens to safe and orderly roads.”
