South Lebanon witnessed a widespread Israeli escalation, with a series of air strikes and the dropping of explosives and sound bombs, coinciding with intense flights of military aircraft in the southern airspace.

The Lebanon Debate correspondent reported that Israeli helicopters dropped two barrels of explosives near homes in Doha Kafr Rumman, before Israeli warplanes moved to target the area.

In Nabatieh Al-Fawqa, a raid carried out by an Israeli drone targeted the vicinity of the public park, while another Israeli raid targeted the Al-Deir neighborhood with an unexploded missile.

Israeli warplanes also raided the outskirts of Ali Al-Tahir in the Nabatieh Al-Fawqa area, and in another raid targeted the Al-Marj area located between Mifdoun and Nabatieh Al-Fawqa.

The raids coincided with Israeli warplanes flying over southern airspace at medium and low levels.

In simultaneous field developments, Israeli aircraft dropped 3 sound bombs over the town of Yater in the Bint Jbeil District, and an Israeli aircraft dropped a sound bomb over the town of Al-Mansouri.

In Houla, a large explosion resonated in the town.
