According to a report published by the Sammy Fans website, the App package includes a total of 56 security fixes from Google and Samsung, including 38 fixes related to Android, including 8 vulnerabilities classified as “critical” and 30 high-risk vulnerabilities.
Samsung has also added 18 security fixes to address issues specifically related to Galaxy software and devices, making it important to install the package to further protect devices from potential security risks.
The rollout of the August update began with the latest Samsung foldable phones, while it is expected to gradually reach more eligible phones and tablets in the coming days, with its arrival date varying depending on the device and region.
Galaxy device users can check whether the update has arrived by going to Settings, then Software Update, and choosing to download and install when the package is available.
