OpenAI developed the new Codex Micro keyboard in cooperation with Work Louder, a company that specializes in developing professional keyboards, and designed it specifically for users who rely on artificial intelligence agents for programming and writing purposes, to replace computer keyboards.
The new keyboard is characterized by its small size, which makes it easy to transport and use almost anywhere. It also contains various keys, such as Agent Keys with backlights, which reflect the status of the tasks carried out by artificial intelligence agents. Different colors indicate that a task has finished, user reaction is needed, active execution, or an error has occurred.
The panel also contains programmable buttons for the most commonly used commands, such as accepting or rejecting modifications, sending a request, and activating the “push to talk” mode. It also has a separate button bearing a microphone icon for voice control.
Codex Micro obtained a rotating dial, through which the level of “thinking” of artificial intelligence can be adjusted. (Russia Today)
