The head of the Progressive Socialist Party, Representative Taymour Jumblatt, affirmed his full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the leadership and the people, in the face of the attacks against it, considering that they constitute a blatant violation that is unjustified under any consideration.
Jumblatt said, in a post on the “X” platform, that these attacks also represent an undermining of the security of the region and a violation of international law.
He added that the continued attacks on Arab countries, especially the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Qatar, Kuwait, and other Arab countries, constitute an unjustified escalation of the conflict and an attack on the security of Arab countries.
In the same context, the Progressive Socialist Party, in a statement issued by the Information Commission, condemned in the strongest terms the repeated attacks targeting the Arab Gulf states and a number of Arab countries, considering that they constitute a direct threat to the security and stability of the region and a dangerous escalation that exacerbates tension and threatens Arab national security.
The party called for a serious ceasefire between the United States and Iran, thus sparing the region further destruction.
