Bloomberg News Agency quoted sources as saying that the company seeks to launch the new headphones in conjunction with the launch of a foldable phone alongside the next generation of the iPhone smartphone, in celebration of the twentieth anniversary of the launch of the first phone from the iPhone family.
These products will form part of what Apple intends to launch as the largest package of simultaneous new products to date, according to the sources who requested anonymity.
These devices are expected to contribute to supporting the company’s growth during its first full year under the leadership of new CEO John Ternos, who will take office on September 1.
The company is also developing a range of new chips for future devices, built on next-generation silicon manufacturing technology.
