Dar Al Fatwa announced, in a statement, that the Day of Arafah, the ninth of the month of Dhu al-Hijjah of the year 1447 AH, falls on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, with the first day of Eid al-Adha falling on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, corresponding to the tenth of the month of Dhu al-Hijjah.
Dar Al-Fatwa congratulated the pilgrims, wishing them “an accepted Hajj, a rewarded effort, and a forgiven sin.” It also congratulated Muslims in general on the occasion of the blessed Eid Al-Adha, asking God to return it to the Lebanese “with goodness, security, peace and stability.”
