The Israeli army spokesman, Avichay Adraee, issued an important warning to the residents of Lebanon, specifically the residents of the villages of Bargalia and Rashidiya, calling on them to immediately evacuate their homes and head north towards the Zahrani River.
Adraee explained that “Hezbollah’s activities force the Israeli army to act forcefully against it in those areas,” stressing that the army “does not intend to harm civilians,” and urging residents to leave immediately for their safety.
The southern front witnessed an escalation in military operations, as Israeli warplanes carried out intense raids targeting the towns of Zawtar al-Gharbiya, Taybah and Ramia, in addition to the vicinity of Yater and Beit Lev and the outskirts of Majdal Salim towards Wadi al-Saluki. Israeli forces also blew up houses in Rab Thilaine, and sounds of explosions were heard in tents as a result of field bombing operations.
In a related context, reports stated that an Israeli force entered the town of Aita al-Shaab, and set up a crane equipped with surveillance cameras in the direction of the town of Rmeish.
