Journalist Salem Zahran published a blog post on his Facebook account in which he stated that Israel still considers the Lebanese front less important, because it is mainly focused on confronting Iran, which it believes needs direct support from the United States.
He explained that Israel will work to exploit US President Donald Trump’s time in power as much as possible, before returning to interest in Lebanon, where, as he said, a fateful battle looms on the horizon that cannot tolerate partial solutions.
Zahran also pointed out that any upcoming confrontation will not be limited or controllable, stressing that the conflict, if it breaks out, will continue until the “last breath,” and the full force and capabilities available to both parties will be used.
He concluded his speech by saying: “The worst has not yet begun, and what is coming is greater and more ferocious.”
