Hezbollah drones challenge Israeli defense systems...and the confrontations continue

Sources in the Israeli army told the newspaper “Haaretz” that “military operations in Lebanon are not time-bound and may be prolonged.”

According to the same sources, “the Israeli army faces difficulties in intercepting Hezbollah’s marches,” as the sources confirmed that “the success rates in intercepting them are low.”

In a related context, the sources stated that “Hezbollah is running the campaign independently of Tehran.”

The sources also added that “there is an almost complete breakdown in communication between the leadership in Tehran and Hezbollah.”

These Israeli military assessments come at a time of increasing escalation on the Lebanese front, as Hezbollah has intensified the use of drones in its attacks against Israeli sites in recent weeks, in parallel with the launching of rockets and shells towards areas in northern Israel. This prompted the Israeli army to expand the scope of its military operations and target military sites and structures belonging to the party inside Lebanese territory.

On the other hand, Israeli warplanes launched several air strikes on areas in southern Lebanon, the Bekaa Valley, and the southern suburbs of Beirut, targeting sites that the Israeli army claims are linked to Hezbollah’s military structure.
