In a notable development on the Lebanese-Israeli confrontation line, Hezbollah’s military media issued a statement containing a clear warning to residents of settlements adjacent to the Lebanese border, calling on them to evacuate those areas in light of the intensification of the pace of military operations.

The statement, which was accompanied by an illustration outlining the scope of the warning, included an explicit call to residents of settlements located in northern Israel, no more than 5 kilometers from the border, to leave their homes.

The text of the warning stated:

“Warning to residents of settlements in the north:

You are asked to evacuate all settlements located within 5 kilometers of the border line.

Your army’s attacks on Lebanese sovereignty and civilians, the destruction of civilian infrastructure, and the displacement campaign it is implementing will not go unanswered.”

The statement was also attached to a map specifying the locations of a number of settlements near the Lebanese border, highlighting the proposed evacuation directions.

This warning comes in the context of the escalation in the intensity of clashes on the southern front, where there has been an exchange of bombing between Israel and Hezbollah for several days, and the scope of the confrontations has expanded to include various regions in Lebanon.

Early today, the Islamic Resistance announced the implementation of three missile operations targeting Israeli army positions in “Markaba,” “Tent City,” and “Al-Malikiyah Site,” confirming direct hits on Israeli forces.

The resistance also announced the implementation of nine military operations on Thursday, targeting Israeli sites and bases in northern occupied Palestine, including the “Yara Barracks” and the “Military Industries Complex of the Rafael Company south of Akko,” in addition to several military sites near the border.

This Hezbollah warning comes after a series of warnings issued by the Israeli army during the past few hours to residents of Lebanese areas, calling on them to evacuate areas in the south, the Bekaa, and the southern suburbs of Beirut before launching air strikes.

The Israeli army spokesman had previously published maps and warning messages addressed to residents of the southern suburbs, parts of Lebanon, and a number of towns in the south, asking them to evacuate specific areas before they are targeted.

These warnings coincided with a series of intense Israeli raids that targeted the southern suburbs of Beirut, the Bekaa, and a number of towns in the south, which led to large waves of displacement among the population.
