With the escalation of the pace of military actions in the region, as a result of the American and Israeli raids on Iran, and the accompanying tensions on the southern border of Lebanon and the continuation of Israeli violations, a local political trend has emerged linking the course of the regional conflict with the situation in Lebanon.
In this regard, Representative Ali Khreis stated that the attack on Iran aims to “topple the regime,” which will enable Washington and “Israel” to control the future of the region and its peoples.
He also explained that the almost daily Israeli targeting of Lebanon represents an attempt to subject the country to Israeli control, stressing that Lebanon is committed to “Resolution 1701,” while “the enemy has not adhered to any of its provisions.”
Khreis stressed that his position is firm in supporting the state that cares about its land and its people, and in supporting the Lebanese army to impose its control over all Lebanese lands, pointing out the importance of strengthening internal stability in light of the rapid regional developments.
