Beirut Port: New procedures to facilitate the movement of goods

The Chairman of the Board of Directors and Director General of the Port of Beirut, Marwan Al-Nafy, issued a circular addressed to all those dealing with the port, which includes an amendment to working hours with the aim of facilitating the movement of goods and providing better services.

This circular comes based on Resolution issued by the Ministry of Interior and Municipalities No. 2025/1088, specifying the times for trucks to pass on the roads, and stipulates the following:

Starting from midnight Sunday – Monday of each week, the yards and warehouses will be open according to the following times:

From Monday to Thursday: from 00:00 to 16:00.

Friday: from 00:00 to 1:00.

In addition, Entrance Gate No. 14 will be open from 00:00 to 18:00, in accordance with the new amendment to truck passage times.

The circular also clarified that administrative and commercial working hours will remain the same within the official working hours approved at the port. This decision will be implemented as of midnight on Monday, March 2, 2026.
