
The Media Office of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education issued a statement stating that Minister Rima Karami had taken a decision to extend the suspension of lessons at Al-Haddadeen High School for Girls in the city of Tripoli until tomorrow, Thursday. This procedure aims to enable specialized teams to complete maintenance work in the specified areas, provided that this is done as quickly as possible.
The statement also clarified that the repair operations will be carried out according to a precise plan aimed at ensuring that the educational process in secondary schools is not disrupted once studies resume, with full care being taken to adhere to public safety rules.
Minister Karami confirmed that she pays great attention to the file of restoration and maintenance of Tripoli schools, and indicated continued coordination with the Municipality of Tripoli and other concerned parties, with the aim of ensuring that school buildings are free of any structural risks, whether inside the buildings or as a result of neighboring buildings that may represent a threat to the safety of students and teachers.
