The General Directorate of Public Security announced the amendment of the fees for the transactions it completes, in implementation of the provisions of Law No. 40 issued on February 10, 2026 related to the general budget for the current year. The amendment includes determining the value of fees on Lebanese passports according to the categories and time period for each type of passport.
According to the schedule issued, the fees became as follows: First:
Lebanese passports:
Regular number: 6,000,000 Lebanese pounds
Distinctive number, first category: 30,000,000 liras
A special number, second category: 20,000,000 liras for ten years
Regular number: 10,000,000 Lebanese pounds
Distinctive number, first category: 60,000,000 liras
Special number, second category: 40,000,000 liras
