The “Lebanon Debate” correspondent reported that the Israeli escalation was renewed this evening on the city of Nabatieh and its surroundings, where a drone carried out a raid targeting the city, before military aircraft launched a series of intense raids on the area.
According to the correspondent, the number of military raids that were carried out within a short period reached 6 raids, distributed between 5 raids on Nabatieh al-Fawqa and one raid on Nabatieh al-Tahta.
One of the raids led to the injury of journalist Ali Shabib, a correspondent for Al-Manar TV and Al-Nour Radio in Nabatieh, and a photographer who was accompanying him. They were transferred to Sheikh Ragheb Harb Hospital, and information indicated that their condition was stable.
In parallel with the escalation, a displacement movement was recorded from the city of Nabatieh towards safer areas, in light of the successive raids and fears of continued targeting.
The escalation extended to the Tire district, where Israeli warplanes raided the town of Al-Mansouri in two batches, as part of a continuing wave of raids on several southern areas.
In a related field development, the Israeli Broadcasting Authority reported that the Israeli army is preparing in the coming days to blow up tunnels in the Ali Al-Taher area, at a time when the area and its surroundings are witnessing continuous field developments.
