Speaker of the House of Representatives, Nabih Berri, received, at the headquarters of the Second Presidency in Ain al-Tineh, former MP Fares Saeed, in a meeting devoted to discussing developments in the general situation in the country and the latest political developments, in addition to a number of files and national affairs presented on the internal arena.

The meeting discussed the overall developments that Lebanon is witnessing at the current stage, in light of the multiple political, security and economic entitlements, and the continuous movement between political forces and figures to keep pace with the files open on more than one level.

The meeting also constituted an opportunity to present a number of national issues and viewpoints regarding internal developments, amid continued contacts and political meetings aimed at following up on developments and approaching them in light of the circumstances the country is going through.

Berri and Saeed’s meeting comes within a series of political meetings held by the Speaker of the House of Representatives in Ain al-Tineh with officials and political and parliamentary figures, as part of following up on internal developments and files related to the next stage.
