In a post on the “X” platform, the head of the Marada Movement, Suleiman Franjieh, recalled Imam Sayyid Musa al-Sadr’s saying: “Lebanon is the final homeland for all its people.”
Franjieh said: “A statement we adopt in word, deed and faith,” coinciding with the anniversary of Imam al-Sadr’s disappearance.
This anniversary comes on August 31, at a time when the issue of the disappearance of Imam al-Sadr and his two companions, Sheikh Muhammad Yaqoub, and journalist Abbas Badr al-Din in Libya in 1978, is still present as a comprehensive national issue.
Representative Tony Franjieh, in turn, had restored Imam al-Sadr’s thought and belief in a single and final Lebanon for all its people, affirming in a post on “X”: “We want one Lebanon and we do not accept two, three, and four Lebanons.”
