Lebanese-Emirati relations are regaining their momentum from the economic and investment perspective, with the arrival of an Emirati delegation that includes about 80 businessmen and investors to Lebanon, in a visit in which Prime Minister Nawaf Salam saw confirmation of the country regaining the confidence of its Arab brothers.
In this context, Salam made a phone call with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Emirates, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, during which he discussed the importance of the Emirati delegation’s visit to Lebanon.
Salam praised the visit, whose delegation is headed by the UAE Minister of Foreign Trade, Thani bin Ahmed Al-Zeyoudi, and includes investors and businessmen representing different sectors.
He stressed that the visit indicates the restoration of confidence in Lebanon among its Arab brothers, and provides opportunities to enhance cooperation and enable partnership between Lebanon and the UAE in various fields.
The visit of the Emirati delegation comes within the framework of pushing bilateral relations towards a more active phase, based on expanding economic and investment cooperation and opening new horizons for partnership between the two countries.
