
The Estimates Department at the Meteorological Department in the General Directorate of Civil Aviation expected the weather on Monday to be partly cloudy, with the humidity remaining high and fog appearing in the highlands, with no noticeable change in temperatures on the coast, which are below their seasonal averages for the month of June, while rising slightly in the mountains and inland.
The bulletin stated the following:
– General situation: Stable spring weather will dominate Lebanon and the eastern Mediterranean basin during the coming days.
Note: Average temperatures for June: Beirut between 22 and 30, Tripoli between 21 and 29, and Zahle between 16 and 32 degrees.
– Expected weather in Lebanon:
Sunday: Partly cloudy and high humidity, with local fog forming in the highlands without significant change in temperature.
Monday: Partly cloudy, with humidity remaining high and fog appearing in the highlands, with no significant change in temperatures on the coast, which are below their seasonal averages for June, while they rise slightly in the mountains and inland.
Tuesday: Few clouds, with local fog forming over the highlands, with no noticeable change in temperatures on the coast, which remain below their seasonal averages, while they rise additionally and slightly over the mountains and inland, so they are within their averages.
Wednesday: Mostly cloudy, with local fog forming over the highlands and a slight rise in temperatures.
The temperature on the coast is from 17 to 28 degrees, above the mountains from 24 to 24 degrees, and inland from 14 to 31 degrees.
– Surface winds: southwesterly to northwesterly northwesterly, with speeds between 10 and 30 km/h.
Visibility: Good on the coast, sometimes worse on highlands due to fog.
