Hussein El Shahat's transfer offer to Pyramids faces rejection

One of the players of the Egyptian Al-Ahly Club received an unexpected disappointment from the Pyramids Club, after the latter refused to sign him during the upcoming summer transfer period.

This rejection comes at a time when Pyramids is seeking to strengthen its ranks in preparation for next season, especially after its exit from the African Champions League following its defeat against the Royal Moroccan Army.

Pyramids is currently looking forward to winning the Egyptian League title, as it occupies second place with 44 points, equal to Al-Ahly in the number of points, while Zamalek leads the standings with 46 points.

A source inside the Pyramids Club revealed that some agents offered the club management to contract with “Hussein El-Shahat,” the Al-Ahly player, in the next season.

It is noteworthy that the 33-year-old Hussein El-Shahat’s contract with Al-Ahly will expire at the end of the current season, and the Red Club has not yet decided on renewing his contract or ending the relationship between them.

The source said, in exclusive statements to “Erm News,” that Pyramids categorically refused to contract with “Hussein Al-Shahat” to represent the team.

He pointed out that the Pyramids management is focusing on signing young players capable of providing a technical addition to the team in the coming seasons, which is the reason behind refusing to include “Hussein El Shahat.”
