Liverpool coach Andoni Iraola admitted that the departure of Egyptian star Mohamed Salah left a big void in the team’s roster, after the “Reds” had a faltering start in the English Premier League competition.
Salah left Liverpool at the end of last season after 9 years full of success, and moved to Turkish Trabzonspor, where he signed a two-year contract.
Iraola said in an interview with Steven Gerrard, the legend of the Red Club, on the TNT Sports channel: Salah left and left us with a void that is difficult to fill, and we must look for compensation for him in the current transfer period.
He added: We hope to finish this file quickly, because replacing Salah is considered our highest priority in the current period, and it may be the main focus of our attention in the current transfer market.
Liverpool is close to signing Bradley Barkola, Paris Saint-Germain player, for 123 million pounds sterling.
